Azaan Competition – Rules & Guidelines
Eligibility
- Open to Male participants only
- Participants must fall within the selected age category
- One entry per participant is allowed
- Registration and entry fee payment are mandatory
Recitation Rules
- Participants must recite the complete Azaan in the correct sequence.
- Pronunciation must follow proper Arabic articulation and traditional Azaan form.
- The recitation should be clear, confident, and respectful, maintaining the dignity of Azaan.
- Any alteration, shortening, or addition to the Azaan text is not permitted.
Video Submission Guidelines
- The participant’s face must be clearly visible throughout the video.
- Participants must wear modest and appropriate Islamic clothing.
- The video should be recorded in a quiet, respectful, and distraction-free environment.
- Audio quality must be clear, without echo, distortion, or background noise.
- No background music, sound effects, voice alteration, or video editing is allowed.
- The video must be a single continuous recording without cuts.
Review & Approval
- All submitted Azaan videos are reviewed before approval.
- Videos are evaluated by qualified Islamic teachers based on:
- Correct Azaan pronunciation
- Voice clarity and control
- Proper etiquette and presentation
- Videos that do not meet the guidelines may be rejected and will not be published for voting.
Voting & Fair Participation
- Only approved Azaan videos will be published for public viewing and voting.
- Participants may share their approved video link publicly to receive votes.
- Any attempt to manipulate votes or use unfair practices may lead to disqualification.
- The organisers’ decision regarding approval and final results is final and binding.
General Conduct
- Participants are expected to maintain proper Islamic manners and respectful behaviour.
- Any inappropriate content, language, or presentation will result in immediate disqualification.
- By submitting a video, participants confirm that they have read and agreed to all competition rules.

To honour dedication, effort, and excellence, selected winners of each competition are awarded meaningful prizes and recognition. All winners are chosen through a structured evaluation and transparent voting process.
First Prize – Cash Award
Honouring the participant with exceptional Quran or Azaan delivery, strong Tajweed or maqam control, clarity, confidence, and overall excellence.
Second Prize – Cash Award
Awarded for high-quality recitation, clear pronunciation, disciplined performance, and adherence to Islamic recitation standards.
Third Prize – Cash Award
Recognising sincere effort, correct recitation, and noticeable improvement throughout the competition.
Fourth Place – Special Learning Award
The fourth-ranked participant receives one year of free Quran learning at Quran Way Academy,
