Quran Recitation Competition – Rules & Guidelines
Eligibility
- Open to all eligible participants Male & Female based on the selected age category.
- Participants must choose the correct category during registration.
- Only one entry per participant is permitted.
Recitation Rules
- Participants may recite any Surah of the Holy Quran of their choice.
- Recitation should be clear, confident, and respectful.
- Proper Tajweed rules should be followed to the best of the participant’s ability.
- Background music, sound effects, or external audio enhancements are not allowed.
Video Submission Guidelines
- The participant’s face must be clearly visible throughout the video.
- Participants must wear modest and appropriate Islamic clothing.
- The video should be recorded in a respectful and distraction-free environment.
- Audio and video quality must be clear, with minimal background noise.
- Video editing, voice alteration, or dubbing is strictly prohibited.
- The video duration must remain within the specified time limit.
Review & Approval
- All video submissions are reviewed before approval.
- Videos are evaluated by qualified Islamic teachers based on:
- Pronunciation and Tajweed
- Clarity and confidence
- Islamic etiquette and presentation
- Videos that do not meet the guidelines may be rejected and will not be published for voting.
Voting & Fair Participation
- Only approved videos will be published for public viewing and voting.
- Any attempt to manipulate votes or engage in unfair practices may lead to disqualification.
- The organisers’ decision regarding approval and final results will be final and binding.
General Conduct
- Participants are expected to maintain proper Islamic manners and respectful behaviour.
- Any inappropriate content, language, or presentation will result in immediate disqualification.
- By submitting a video, participants confirm that they have read and agreed to all competition rules.

To honour dedication, effort, and excellence, selected winners of each competition are awarded meaningful prizes and recognition. All winners are chosen through a structured evaluation and transparent voting process.
First Prize – Cash Award
Honouring the participant with exceptional Quran or Azaan delivery, strong Tajweed or maqam control, clarity, confidence, and overall excellence.
Second Prize – Cash Award
Awarded for high-quality recitation, clear pronunciation, disciplined performance, and adherence to Islamic recitation standards.
Third Prize – Cash Award
Recognising sincere effort, correct recitation, and noticeable improvement throughout the competition.
Fourth Place – Special Learning Award
The fourth-ranked participant receives one year of free Quran learning at Quran Way Academy,
